Policy Committee Directs Regional Chamber Positions on Key Legislation
The Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana has established its positions on the emerging legislation being filed at the Statehouse in the 2012 short session. Read our stance on individual bills below.
The next policy meeting to discuss and vote on the new issues will be Friday, January 27th at noon in our office. Any member is entitled to participate on the policy committee. This committee serves as the action engine of the Regional Chamber, and offers you the opportunity to shape our positions on key legislation.

HB 1005 — Nepotism; conflict of interest.
HB 1119 — Use tax nexus and collection.
HB 1130 — County options for delinquent property taxes.
SB 0057 — Inheritance tax and estate tax.
SB 0301 — Extra heavy duty highways.
SB 0311 — Fiscal impact review for environmental rules.
SB 0314 — Public deposit insurance fund.
SB 0361 — State provision and use of communications service
